I am perched precariously
On a ledge
At the edge
of what you see.
I can't go back
I can't move forward
I'm just stuck here
with me.
So much is right
So little's wrong
It's hard to explain
you see.
Unless you've been out here
On a ledge
Perched precariously
like me.
On a ledge
At the edge
of what you see.
I can't go back
I can't move forward
I'm just stuck here
with me.
So much is right
So little's wrong
It's hard to explain
you see.
Unless you've been out here
On a ledge
Perched precariously
like me.

Hello, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. That painting is called Bliss 1 and it's by Tay Eng. It was vaguely famailiar to me too, I thought it looked a little like 'The Kiss' by Gustav Klimt. (I didnt know the name of the artist, I had to look it up.)
I enjoyed reading your poem very much. I love how poems say so much-sparingly.
Thanks again for stopping by, don't be a stranger.
Beautiful poem. Got room out there for another?
